The Channel Marketing Manager – Value Added Reseller (VAR) at Kaspersky Lab is a critical position for our corporate business division.  Our corporate sales strategy is 100% channel focused, so joint marketing plans and their execution that support our channel partners are the foundation for our ability to grow and succeed.  Reporting to the Senior Manager, Channel Marketing, this person will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans with key VAR partners and Distributors to drive leads and revenue in support of Kaspersky North Americas channel marketing and sales initiatives.  He/she will also help the Channel Sales team in driving awareness and mindshare for Kaspersky and our products with the focus on delivering revenue and profitable growth through our partners.
What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute all aspects of partner marketing plans, working with partners, Kaspersky channel sales and marketing teams as appropriate.
  • Execute marketing plans that focus on new customer acquisition and renewals through partners’ customer base
  • Develop campaigns that align with industry vertical focus by partner
  • Develop materials that follow Kaspersky brand guidelines and align Kaspersky and partner messaging for compelling customer value
  • Manage and track all plans and report on activities in regards to costs, proof of performance, and ROI, including required inputs into Salesforce.com and other systems
  • Manage all aspects and logistics of lead generation campaigns associated with your partner plans, including events, outbound email, inbound and social media
  • Prepare quarterly, semi-annual and annual plans for each partner to be presented to your manager at least monthly that include recommended programs and opportunities for partner enablement and end user demand generation with projected ROI
  • Manage and track channel marketing budget associated with your plan activities
  • Manage partner insertion orders, legal and finance review and invoice submission and payments
  • Manage proof of performance folders by partner, showing all collateral, campaign materials and promotional pieces that were developed with the partner
  • Deliver world-class partner service, including cultivating and managing key business relationships
  • Build relationships with internal departments and outside agencies and consultants as required to effectively execute on programs and plans
  • Identify and exploit technology trends and market opportunities
  • Be perceived as a partner marketing business leader and have the ability to balance Kaspersky and partner business objectives
  • Detail oriented, organized, creative and innovative

Desired Skills and Experience
What You Need to Have:

  • 2+ years Marketing / Channel Marketing experience
  • BS / BA in marketing or related field
  • Strong understanding of Channel marketing strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, presentation, and project management skills
  • Creative problem solver, results oriented, strong time management skills and able to make trade-offs and link execution with strategy
  • Ability to innovate and influence staff and management at all levels
  • Excel at project management, managing multiple projects and schedules
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce.com.  Some HTML preferred.
  • Detail oriented, organized, creative and innovative
  • High energy; highly productive with strong initiative; able to work independently
  • Team player and can do attitude a must
